Cat Ladies for America claws against policies and rhetoric from those who want to control women and the choices we make about our lives.
We stand ready to catfight for the rights of ALL women, which requires that we also fight against autocracy, oligarchy and hiss-information.
Our mission is to do our paw-t to help elect candidates, promote policies and raise awareness ushering in a new era of hope and liberty where every day feels like Cat-urday!
As we claw our way towards political change, we celebrate our love for cats and the unifying power of women from every background & walk of life.
Since CLFA firmly believes that "Cat Lady" is a state of mind, our Community welcomes Cat Women, Cat Daddies, Cat Folks and our Un-Catted allies who just vibe with us.

Yes absolutely! Cat lady is a state of mind.
Yes! We welcome cat ladies of all genders.
We’re just like you, grassroots supporters who want to do everything we can in this moment to protect democracy and elevate organizations, leaders, actions, policies and candidates who will fight for and with us through peaceful - if sassy - protest and mobilization. We are not a PAC.
We do that using what we know best: comedy, cats and cajoling.

Cat Ladies for America’s Founder had never in any way worked in politics or on a campaign when she accidentally & impulsively launched her grassroots organization on July 21, 2024 - the day President Joe Biden announced that he would drop out of the 2024 Presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
Initially just a social media account named Cat Ladies for Kamala, things escalated quickly. Just two weeks later, on August 4th, its online fundsraiser event had 35,000 live viewers and raised over $320,000 for the Harris-Walz 2024 campaign in one night, which would grow to over $400,000 and include donations for down ballot candidates by Election Day 2024. Its work has been featured by media including MSNBC, The Advocate, and The Washington Post.
As of June 2025, Cat Ladies for America has grown to 160,000-ish social media followers, 30,000 email subscribers, has just launched a thriving free community on discord, and since late February 2025 has sprung 20 local chapters across the country and growing - focused on Equal Rights and Fascism Fights.
